Car Crash Portland Oregon in Portland, Oregon: One person died and another was taken to a hospital after a car crashed into a pole in the Cully neighborhood of northeast Portland early Tuesday morning. Just before 3:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a car into a pole near Northeast Lombard Street and Northeast 72nd Avenue. Officers arrived and found one person dead at the scene. The Major Crash Team responded and is leading the investigation.
