Pedestrian Hit Vehicle-Pedestrian Oklahoma in vehicle-pedestrian, Oklahoma: An Oklahoma Department of Transportation worker was killed in a vehicle-pedestrian crash on U.S. Highway 62 about five miles west of Snyder in Kiowa County. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, ODOT workers were mowing on the highway when one worker standing near an ODOT truck on the westbound shoulder was struck by a car. The worker was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been publicly identified.
