Man dies in Citra house fire on NE 162nd Street

Vehicle Fire Citra Florida in Citra, Florida: A man died in a house fire in Citra, Florida late Monday night around 11:30 p.m. Fire crews responded to the 1500 block of NE 162nd Street and found the home fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters attempted to rescue an adult male who was unable to escape, and he was found deceased at the scene. The Marion County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes detectives and the state fire marshal are investigating.
