Vehicle Fire Lane South Carolina in Lane, South Carolina: A man was arrested and charged with murder after a victim was found dead inside a burned apartment in Williamsburg County. The fire occurred on June 26 at an apartment on 23 Law Avenue in Lane, South Carolina. The apartment was fully engulfed when Williamsburg County Fire Rescue arrived, and one deceased victim was found inside after the fire was extinguished. SLED responded to assist with the investigation, and surveillance video showed Kenneth McClary on the porch of the duplex with the victim before the fire started; McClary was later found at a nearby camper with partially burnt shoes and clothes and had recent visible injuries.
