Assault Austin Texas in Austin, Texas: A man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed another man at a downtown Austin steakhouse over the weekend, according to police. The Austin Police Department said officers responded to a stabbing at Bob's Steak & Chop House at 301 Lavaca St. at 10:27 p.m. Saturday. Officers found an adult male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds; a preliminary investigation found the victim had been dining with friends when Edward Koubek, who knew the victim through a local church, approached and attacked him with a steak knife. The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and officers located Koubek inside the business and took him into custody without incident.
