Drowning Alabama Today in Alabama: A 64-year-old Alabama prosecutor was found dead after falling into Logan Martin Lake while serving as a spotter for the Pell City Sail Club during a boat race. Multiple agencies were called to help locate him before his body was pulled from the water on Monday. He was the longest-serving prosecutor in the Bessemer division's office and a supervisor in Judge David Carpenter's court.
