Hit And Run Augusta Georgia in Augusta, Georgia: One person was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Augusta, according to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office. Deputies responded around 3:47 p.m. to the intersection of Lumpkin Road and Jennifer Court, where a car left the roadway and struck a person performing lawn care work before leaving the scene. Authorities later located the suspected driver using Flock camera technology and took the driver into custody.
