Kansas man dies while swimming at Oregon's Blue Pool

Drowning Eugene Oregon in Eugene, Oregon: Kenny Truong, 21, of Kansas, died while swimming at the Tamolitch Blue Pool along the McKenzie River in Linn County, Oregon. On Friday night, just before 9 p.m., the Linn County Sheriff's Office received a call that a man had jumped into the water and was unable to get out. Witnesses told police they saw Truong struggling as he swam toward the shore before going under; he was declared dead at the scene despite efforts by people at the pool to help him.
