On June 23, a driver struck a parked vehicle in the 3400 block of Ramona Avenue, south of Folsom Boulevard and near Granite Regional Park, causing the parked vehicle to hit a man. The driver fled the scene and officers later found the vehicle abandoned. Police learned on Monday that the injured pedestrian died at the hospital.
