Police Pursuit Crash Hermitage Pennsylvania in Hermitage, Pennsylvania: A Hermitage police officer is facing multiple charges after police say he intentionally rammed a vehicle, injuring multiple people inside. According to the complaint, 38-year-old Derek Jeziorkowski, a patrolman for the Hermitage Police Department, was chasing a vehicle down East Jamestown Road after a previous incident involving his son at the Greenville Walmart. Police say Jeziorkowski performed a pit maneuver, pulling in front of the victim vehicle and ramming its left front end, causing it to run off the roadway, strike an anchor wire to a utility pole and a tree, and flip onto its roof. Four victims were in the vehicle, including three 18-year-olds and one 33-year-old, and two were taken to the hospital with suspected serious bodily injuries. Jeziorkowski has been placed on administrative leave by Hermitage Police Chief Adam Piccirillo.
