Vehicle Fire Long Island Expressway New York in Long Island Expressway, New York: An apartment fire broke out shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Commonwealth Avenue in the Clason Point section of the Bronx. The FDNY took about an hour to bring the fire under control. One firefighter sustained minor injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
