Vehicle Fire Washington District Of Columbia in Washington, District of Columbia: A two-alarm apartment fire broke out in a 10-story building on the 4600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SW in Southwest Washington, D.C. around 2 a.m. Tuesday. The fire started in an eighth-floor apartment and spread to neighboring units before crews extinguished it around 4 a.m. One firefighter and three adults were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
