Dui Crash Kentucky Today in Kentucky: Kentucky State Police responded to 860 Bewley Road on Saturday just before 9 p.m. after a car flipped upside down in a flooded creek with three people inside. David Rhodes, 44, of Elizabethtown, was driving when he lost control, and he and two minors became trapped. Ethan Rhodes, 15, was transported to the hospital where he died from drowning rather than crash injuries. David Rhodes and the other minor were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and police determined Rhodes had been driving while drunk; he was charged with two counts of assault and DUI, and later with vehicular homicide under the influence.
