Pedestrian Hit Burlington North Carolina in Burlington, North Carolina: A Durham man, Jeron Ricole Robertson, 34, was charged following a crash that killed pedestrian Curtis Lee Ridgeway, 53, and critically injured Kristie Williams Huffines, 55. Police said the crash occurred the night of June 20, 2026, when Robertson struck two pedestrians crossing the 2400 block of North Church Street while traveling east on the roadway.
