Driver charged with murder in 112 mph crash on 405 Freeway…

Prosecutors allege Bickham was driving 112 mph when he struck LAPD Sgt. Shiou Deng, who had pulled over with emergency lights activated to help motorist Jesus Garcia, 34, whose vehicle had been hit by an unidentified hit-and-run driver. Deng, a 26-year LAPD veteran, was pronounced dead at an area hospital; Garcia was also killed. Bickham had been cited by CHP the month before for driving 105 mph.
