Car Crash Las Vegas Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada: A collision at Lake Mead Boulevard and Walnut Road in Las Vegas on June 27 left five people injured, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police. Detectives alleged that Raudel Luna was driving an Infiniti sedan west on Lake Mead at an extremely high rate of speed while racing with a motorcycle when the Infiniti struck the right front of a Nissan that turned into its path. Luna, who did not have a license and had a prior reckless driving charge from 2020, was mechanically extricated and taken to UMC with serious injuries; the Nissan driver suffered life-threatening injuries including head trauma, a spinal hematoma and a broken back, and three others were also transported to UMC. Luna faces three counts of reckless driving and one count of child abuse or neglect, all resulting in substantial bodily harm.
