Car Crash Trees Dodge County Georgia in trees DODGE COUNTY, Georgia: A Dodge County sheriff's deputy was injured Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle crash while responding to a call, according to Sheriff Brian Robinson. Georgia State Patrol said the patrol vehicle was traveling east on Georgia 126 near East Chicken Road when it left the roadway and struck several trees. The deputy told GSP he was trying to pick up a piece of equipment from the floorboard when the vehicle ran off the road. Another deputy transported him to the hospital, and GSP was called to investigate per policy.
