Workplace Accident Construction Utah in construction, Utah: A 56-year-old male construction worker was killed and three others were injured during a construction accident in the Monte Cristo area of Rich County, Utah. According to the Rich County Sheriff's Office, contractors were installing roof trusses at a cabin under construction in the Wasatch Ridge area when a sudden gust of wind knocked two workers off the roof and pinned another beneath a roof truss. A 42-year-old male was critically injured and airlifted to the hospital, a 29-year-old male was transported by ground ambulance, and a fourth individual whose age was not released was also treated for injuries.
