According to the Rich County Sheriff's Office, contractors were installing roof trusses when a sudden gust of wind caused multiple trusses to collapse, trapping one worker underneath. A 42-year-old man was critically injured and transported to the hospital by helicopter, while a third injured crew member was treated at the scene. Several agencies responded, including Woodruff EMS, Randolph EMS, the Weber County Sheriff's Office, the Utah Department of Natural Resources, and the Rich County Sheriff's Office.
