Assault Northeast Florida in northeast, Florida: An 18-year-old Colombian man, Juan Gonzalez, is accused of stabbing his stepfather to death at a home in northeast Miami-Dade. The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office said deputies responded at around 3:09 a.m. on June 20 to Northeast 148th Street and Northeast 15th Avenue for a reported domestic battery with injuries and found the victim unresponsive with stab wounds. According to an arrest report, Gonzalez produced multiple sharp objects and fatally wounded the victim, and surveillance video captured him adjusting the angle of cameras inside the home. ICE said Gonzalez's visa expired in November 2018 and an immigration detainer has been lodged, with deportation planned.
