Car Crash Waukegan Illinois in Waukegan, Illinois: Four vehicles crashed on Green Bay Road near 8th Street in Waukegan, Illinois, around 4:15 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026. A seriously injured child was airlifted by medical helicopter to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, while eight other patients — seven adults and one child — were transported by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries to Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan and Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital. The Waukegan Police Department Major Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
