Car Crash Bridgeport Connecticut in Bridgeport, Connecticut: Bridgeport police issued a public warning after multiple serious crashes involving scooters, motorcycles, and e-bikes over the past two months. The most recent crash occurred on Sunday around 4:30 p.m. when a scooter and a car collided at Iranistan and Laurel avenues, seriously injuring both operators. Earlier in June, another motor scooter crash occurred at Laurel Avenue and Elmwood avenues, and in May a 61-year-old Bridgeport man died when his motor scooter crashed with a car on Huntington Turnpike. Police Chief Roderick Porter noted the city has seen a fatality and numerous serious injuries involving scooter riders heading into the July 4th weekend.
