Car Crash Macon Georgia in Macon, Georgia: A Bibb County Sheriff's Office deputy and another driver were injured during a Sunday evening crash at the intersection of Georgia Highway 247 and Napier Avenue in Macon-Bibb County, according to Georgia State Patrol. The deputy was heading south on Georgia 247 with emergency lights on while responding to a call when the cruiser entered the intersection and struck a passenger vehicle heading east on Napier Avenue. Both the deputy and the other driver were transported to Atrium Health Navicent for medical evaluation and treatment. The crash remains under investigation by Georgia State Patrol.
