Pedestrian Hit Simi Valley California in Simi Valley, California: A 79-year-old Agoura Hills woman was killed Monday afternoon when a white Tesla jumped a curb and struck her outside an Urbane Cafe at a Simi Valley shopping center, then continued into the restaurant's outdoor patio. The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. near Tierra Rejada Road and Madera Road as the Tesla traveled northbound through the parking lot and attempted a right turn toward Madera Road. The victim was found trapped under the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 64-year-old Thousand Oaks driver and four juvenile occupants were in the vehicle; one juvenile was taken to a hospital with minor injuries as a precaution.
