Pedestrian Hit Simi Valley California in Simi Valley, California: On June 29, 2026, at approximately 2:29 p.m., the Simi Valley Police Department responded to the area of 2091-A Madera in Simi Valley regarding a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian. A 79-year-old female pedestrian from Agoura Hills was walking on the sidewalk in front of a business when she was struck by a vehicle that had left the travel lane of the parking lot. She sustained significant, life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver, a resident of Thousand Oaks, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Los Robles Hospital, along with one of three juvenile occupants who suffered minor injuries. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to have been a factor, and Officer Daniel Muoio is leading the investigation.
