Car Crash Oakland Michigan in Oakland, Michigan: A 77-year-old woman from Northville was critically injured after her 2016 Volvo XC70 struck a tree in Oakland Township on June 20. The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said she was traveling eastbound on East Gunn Road approaching a curve at a high rate of speed and attempted to pass other vehicles when she swerved to avoid a westbound bicyclist. She was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency responders. A 12-year-old girl from Bruce Township who was also in the vehicle was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
