57-year-old man found dead after house fire in Marion County

Vehicle Fire Florida Today in Florida: A 57-year-old man, identified as John Burke, was found dead inside a home after a house fire on Monday night in Marion County, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Deputies and fire rescue responded at approximately 11:30 p.m. to the 1500 block of NE 162nd Street. Firefighters attempted to rescue the man, who was unable to escape the home, but he was found dead. Detectives began a death investigation after the flames were extinguished.
