Drowning Eugene Oregon in Eugene, Oregon: A 21-year-old man died Friday evening after jumping into Blue Pool at Tamolitch Falls in the Willamette National Forest, east of Eugene/Springfield, Oregon. According to the Linn County Sheriff's Office, Kenny Truong of Kansas was visiting the area with friends and jumped into the cold pool, where water averages 37 degrees. Dispatch received a call at around 8:47 p.m. local time that Truong had jumped into the pool and was unable to get out. He was a Wichita State University student.
