Drowning Oregon Today in Oregon: A 21-year-old Kansas man, identified as Kenny Truong, died on Friday while swimming at Tamolitch Falls, commonly known as Blue Pool, in Linn County. At 8:47 p.m., Linn County dispatchers received a 911 call reporting that a man had jumped into the water and was unable to get out. Truong was visiting the area with friends at the time, according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office. The Blue Pool is located off Highway 126 and has an average water temperature of 37 degrees Fahrenheit, surrounded by cliffs between 10 and 60 feet high.
