Dui Crash Elizabethtown Kentucky in Elizabethtown, Kentucky: A car driven by 44-year-old David Rhodes of Elizabethtown lost control and flipped upside down into a flooded creek near 860 Bewley Hollow Road in Elizabethtown before 9 p.m. on Saturday. Rhodes and two minors became trapped inside the submerged vehicle. One of the minors, 15-year-old Ethan Rhodes, was transported to a hospital and died; the Hardin County coroner ruled his cause of death as drowning rather than crash-impact injuries. Rhodes and the other minor were treated and released. During the investigation, Kentucky State Police determined Rhodes had been driving under the influence of alcohol, and he was arrested and charged with DUI and first-degree assault.
