Car Crash Washakie Wyoming in Washakie, Wyoming: A 12-year-old was injured by a bison around 9:15 a.m. Friday near the Mud Volcano, just north of Fishing Bridge in Yellowstone National Park. The child was taken to a nearby hospital, and the incident remains under investigation. Park officials reminded visitors to stay at least 25 yards from bison and other large wildlife. Separately, a crash involving a deer sent at least one person to the hospital Saturday evening after a vehicle rolled multiple times down an embankment near milepost 9 on Highway 16, just outside of Worland in Washakie County; the driver was ejected and two children were properly restrained in car seats.
