Car Crash Port Orford Oregon in Port Orford, Oregon: An 18-year-old Washington driver died after falling asleep at the wheel and crashing head-on into a school bus converted into a motorhome on Highway 101 near milepost 312 in Curry County, Oregon, on June 26, 2026. The driver, Luke Anree May Dizone of Covington, Washington, drifted into the opposite lane and died at the scene. One 18-year-old passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries, two other adult passengers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and a fourth passenger was not injured. The 73-year-old motorhome driver from Fort Bragg, California, was not injured. Oregon State Police responded at 8:20 a.m.
