The crash occurred on June 23 around 4 a.m. when a 36-year-old female suspect drove a red SUV northbound in the southbound lanes of I-75 between Grand River and Rosa Parks Boulevard. Michigan State Police received a 911 call two minutes before the crash reporting the wrong-way driver entering at Dearborn Street. The suspect reportedly suffered a leg injury.
