Shooting Summit South Carolina in Summit, South Carolina: Richland County deputies responded to a shooting in the Summit neighborhood in northeast Richland County in the early morning hours of June 4, 2026. After they arrived, several suspects began firing on the deputies, resulting in an attempted murder charge against Sireon Beaufort. Several hours later, deputies say Alicia Magwood, 46, and Arrington Jones, 17, drove Beaufort back to the scene to look for a bag containing guns used in the incident. A search of the car uncovered a bag containing drugs and a stolen gun, and Magwood and Jones later turned themselves in, with Magwood charged with accessory after the fact, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, possession of a Schedule I-IV narcotic, and possession of a stolen firearm.
