Car Crash Chaplin Connecticut in Chaplin, Connecticut: Geovani Aponte Jr., 18, of Willimantic, and Jaiden Pacheco, 20, of North Windham, were killed on Friday, June 26, when the Hyundai they were riding in as passengers collided head-on with another vehicle in Chaplin at the intersection of Willimantic Road and Phoenixville Road, according to Connecticut State Police. Two people on the driver's side of the Hyundai, ages 19 and 18, suffered serious injuries, and the driver of the second vehicle was hospitalized with minor injuries.
