Car Crash South Dakota Today in South Dakota: A two-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 1:42 p.m. on June 25, 2026, on South Dakota Highway 30 near the Interstate 29 interchange in Brookings County. A 2014 Jeep Cherokee driven by 65-year-old Tamara Johnson of Brookings was entering SD Highway 30 from I-29 when it collided with a 2022 Kia Telluride driven by 32-year-old Morgan Brown, also of Brookings, who was traveling westbound on SD Highway 30. Johnson and a 13-year-old passenger from Brown's Kia were transported by ambulance to Brookings Hospital; the extent of their injuries remains unknown.
