Crews found one vehicle down an embankment on its side against a tree and a rock, with one person at the rear of the vehicle and the driver entrapped. Firefighters used saws and stabilization equipment to extricate the driver, a process that took 38 minutes for the second patient. Both patients were transported with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. The Virginia State Police is investigating the crash.
