Car Crash Minnesota Today in Minnesota: Two drivers died Sunday afternoon in a head-on crash on Highway 169 in Itasca County, Minnesota. The Minnesota State Patrol reported the crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. when a northbound 2017 Ford Explorer and a southbound 2009 Lexus RX collided. The 24-year-old driver of the Ford from Luck, Wisconsin, and the 83-year-old driver of the Lexus from Grand Rapids, Minnesota, both died. The State Patrol did not state what caused the crash and noted road conditions were dry at the time.
