Car Crash Hempfield Township One-Vehicle Pennsylvania in Hempfield Township one-vehicle, Pennsylvania: Two Connellsville men were killed in a one-vehicle accident around 2:30 a.m. Saturday along the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Mile Marker 70.4 in Hempfield Township. The Ford Explorer driven by Fronius failed to negotiate a left curve, left the south shoulder of Interstate 76 East, traveled through a grassy embankment, and collided with a bridge abutment, causing the vehicle to roll over and come to rest on its driver side. The Westmoreland County Coroner's Office pronounced Hunter R. Foster dead around 4:30 a.m., and both men died from blunt force injuries. Pennsylvania State Police also investigated the incident.
