Semi Truck Crash South Charleston West Virginia in South Charleston, West Virginia: A tractor-trailer traveling west on Interstate 64 on the South Charleston-Dunbar Bridge crashed on June 23, killing the driver, Jeffrey Simons, 62, of Wellsburg, Iowa. Simons lost control of the rig, and bystanders who stopped to help pulled his dog, Hennessey, from the cab. South Charleston police took the dog to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association, which later reunited Hennessey with her family one week after the crash.
