Vehicle Fire Yarnell Hill Colorado in Yarnell Hill, Colorado: Three wildland firefighters were killed on Saturday when they were overcome by flames while deploying emergency tent-like shelters during a wildfire along the Colorado-Utah border, authorities said. The victims were part of a U.S. Forest Service Helitack crew assigned to an interagency response to fires just west of Grand Junction, Colorado. Two other crew members sustained burn injuries. The deaths occurred almost 13 years to the day after the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots were killed in the Yarnell Hill Fire in Arizona.
