Vehicle Fire Grand Junction Utah in Grand Junction, Utah: Three wildland firefighters were killed on Saturday when they were overcome by flames while deploying emergency tent-like shelters during a wildfire along the Colorado-Utah border. The victims were part of a Helitack crew assigned to an interagency response to fires just west of Grand Junction, Colorado. Two other crew members sustained burn injuries. The U.S. Forest Service identified the deceased as Emily Barker, 38, of Clinton Township, Michigan; Nick Hutcherson, 27, of Glendale, Arizona; and Sydney Watson, 26, of Warrior, Alabama.
