Vehicle Fire Grand Junction Colorado in Grand Junction, Colorado: Three wildland firefighters were killed on Saturday when they were overcome by flames while deploying tent-like emergency shelters during a wildfire along the Colorado-Utah border, authorities said. The victims were part of a specialized Helitack crew assigned to an interagency response to fires just west of Grand Junction, Colorado. Two other firefighters with them sustained burn injuries. The Forest Service identified the deceased as Emily Barker, 38, of Clinton Township, Michigan; Nick Hutcherson, 27, of Glendale, Arizona; and Sydney Watson, 26, of Warrior, Alabama.
