Vehicle Fire Of Warrior Colorado in of Warrior, Colorado: Three wildland firefighters were killed Saturday while conducting attack operations on the Knowles Fire in western Colorado. Sydney Watson, 26, of Warrior, Alabama, was assigned to the U.S. Wildland Fire Service Rifle Helitack; the other two killed were from Arizona and Michigan. The group was deploying tent-like shelters to shield themselves from flames when they were overcome. Two additional firefighters were injured and are receiving medical care. The incident is under investigation by a serious accident investigation team.
