Teen passenger killed, another injured in Queens moped cras…

Car Crash New York Today in New York: Two 13-year-old boys were riding a moped near 162nd Street and 45th Avenue in Queens at around 12:30 p.m. Monday when the driver of a parked car opened their door into the moped's path, causing the moped driver to swerve into a truck, according to NYPD. The 13-year-old passenger fell into the road and made contact with the rear wheels of the truck. Both were taken to the hospital, where the passenger was pronounced dead; the moped driver was reported in stable condition. The drivers of the parked car and the truck remained at the scene.
