Car Crash Ocala Florida in Ocala, Florida: An 18-year-old Ocala man, identified as De'Shawn Vonkei Williams, was traveling northbound on Pine Road in an Infiniti Q50 sedan at an estimated 90 mph in a 30 mph zone when he struck a Hyundai at the Hemlock Road intersection, according to Florida Highway Patrol. The crash occurred on the evening of April 19, 2026. The Hyundai's 48-year-old female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene; the 38-year-old male driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected into a nearby yard. Williams and his 21-year-old male passenger were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Williams was charged with one count of vehicular homicide and six counts of reckless driving.
