Swimmer dies at Tamolitch Falls Blue Pool in Lane County

Drowning Oregon Today in Oregon: A swimmer died at Tamolitch Falls, also known as Blue Pool, on June 26. The swimmer went underwater and did not resurface. Responders from the Upper McKenzie Rural Fire Protection District recovered the swimmer from the water, but they could not be revived. Officials did not release the name of the deceased swimmer or the cause of death. The Linn County Sheriff's Office and Lane County Search and Rescue assisted in the response.
