Car Crash Davenport Iowa in Davenport, Iowa: An SUV traveling east on 6th Street ran a stop sign at Main Avenue in Davenport, Iowa, on Sunday afternoon at 4:10 p.m., according to an Iowa State Patrol crash report. The SUV struck a Davenport police squad car in the intersection, continued east, ran off the road, hit a tree, then got back on the road and struck a parked pickup truck. A Davenport Police Department official told KWQC no one was hurt. A portion of Main Avenue near the intersection was closed because of the crash.
