Dui Crash Washoe Valley Nevada in Washoe Valley, Nevada: On June 26, 2026, deputies with the Washoe County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle collision at Douglas Drive and Eastlake Boulevard in Washoe Valley, Nevada. While investigating the crash and searching for two suspects who had fled on foot, a speeding vehicle struck an unoccupied parked patrol vehicle head-on near deputies. The four occupants of the speeding vehicle were contacted and determined to be uninvolved in the original incident. Separately, 19-year-old Makaylie Briggs-Rowland was arrested and charged with driving under the influence in connection with the speeding vehicle, and 29-year-old Gaylen Downs, who had significant injuries from the original collision, was transported to a local hospital and cited for larceny and resisting a public officer.
