Car Crash Lewes Delaware in Lewes, Delaware: U.S. Senator Chris Coons suffered minor injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Sunday in Sussex County, Delaware. A Delaware driver experienced a medical incident and collided with several cars; Coons was a passenger in one of the struck vehicles. He was transported to Beebe Hospital for treatment and was later reported to be home and expected to make a full recovery. Lewes Police, Lewes and Rehoboth Fire Departments, and Sussex County EMS responded.
